Butt Lift

Butt lift and firming procedures include both surgical and non-surgical methods aimed at giving the buttocks a fuller, firmer, and more aesthetic appearance. Different techniques may be preferred depending on the patient’s body structure, skin elasticity, and expectations.

In these procedures, fat injections, silicone implants, filler applications, or natural tissue transfers created from the patient’s own tissues can be used. For patients experiencing volume loss, the most commonly preferred method is injecting fat taken from other areas of the body (often from the waist and hip area) into the buttocks.

How Is Butt Lift Surgery Performed?

Butt firming surgery can be performed under local or general anesthesia depending on the technique used. Fat injection procedures typically last about 2 hours.

In some patients, especially those in the older age group or with severe sagging, surgical incision techniques are preferred. In this technique:

• The buttock area is surgically lifted

• Tissue (flap) from the patient’s own body is used

• This tissue acts as a natural implant, providing volume and firmness to the buttocks

This method provides a more permanent and noticeable lifting effect.

Buttock Augmentation with Implants

For patients who are very thin and lack sufficient fat tissue, buttock augmentation can be performed with silicone implants. These implants, designed specifically for the buttocks, are placed in the gluteal area through a small incision, similar to those used for breast or thigh augmentation.

• Performed under general anesthesia

• Takes approximately 4 hours

• The incision is small, so noticeable scarring does not occur

• Patients can typically return to their daily activities within 5–6 days

Post-Butt Lift Surgery Process

After surgery, patients are generally advised to:

• Wear a special corset for 2 weeks

• Avoid excessive pressure in the first few days

• Sit and lie down in the positions recommended by the doctor

Most patients can return to their social lives within 3–4 days.

Permanence of the Procedure

The permanence of butt lift and shaping procedures largely depends on the patient’s ability to control their weight. Results may change over time with excessive weight gain or loss.

In fat injection procedures, no surgical incision scars are left, and natural-looking results are achieved.
